Star turns for young stagers
IT’S beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere New Journal photographers and reporters go.
Take Camden’s primary schools: assembly halls were turned into mini-theatres this week as the nativity and Christmas show season kicked off in style. Little actors have been working hard to remember their lines, while parents beaming with pride have been filling up the audience seats.
Our team has been catching up with all the action and this week’s pictures show children from The Rosary School in Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, St Dominics School in Gospel Oak and Holy Trinity and St Silas in Camden Town telling the nativity story in style.
We also popped in to see the drama of Dick Whittington played out at Hawley School in Buck Street, Camden Town.
Every year we do our best to get round as many schools as possible right up to final week of term. So if you’ve been in a school production – look out, you might spot yourself in our special photo galleries very soon.
Good luck from the New Journal to everyone still to take to the stage for a school Christmas show.
