• CONCERNING Samata Khattoon’s letter (Dreams dashed for children of Edith Neville, March 11), I remember that this school was rebuilt in 1972, with a promise that it would be rebuilt within 15 years (by 1987).
This never happened, nor has it in the years that have followed. Even allowing for Labour returning to government, and their promise of “Education, Education, Education”. Maybe, they did not mean to include St Pancras and Somers Town.
