Five more arrests made in hunt for Andrew Jaipaul’s killers
FOURTEEN men, aged between 13 and 24, have so far been arrested in connection with Andrew Jaipaul’s murder.
Five of those arrests were made this week – two 18-year-olds and two 16-year-olds are being held in custody at a north London police station, and one 19-year-old has been bailed to return to a north London police station in early August.
Of the earlier arrests, all nine men have been bailed to return to a north London police station in early August. Officers are keeping an open mind regarding the motive. DI Andy Yeats who is in charge of the investigation said: “There are still 40 officers working exclusively on it but they do have other commitments from time to time such as being on call.”
