‘Reign over’ for criminals in Bunhill
CCTV cameras are to be installed in Whitecross Street in Bunhill in a bid to stamp out shoplifting and dangerous scooter drag racing. The installation follows a campaign by residents and local businesses.
Labour councillor Troy Gallagher said: “This will mean we will be able to take firm action against those who speed dangerously up and down the street on scooters and those who loiter outside licensed premises making life a misery for our residents. The message to these people is clear: your reign is over.”
