Faiths unite to raise funds

MEMBERS of 10 religious groups will unite on Sunday for a walk to raise money for St John’s Wood Adventure Playground and the Salusbury World Refugee Centre in Queen’s Park. The Pathways Interfaith Walk will begin at 1pm at the Central London Mosque, Regent’s Park. Call 07963 077330 to join.

£14m traffic reversion

A TWO-way traffic system has been introduced in the St James’s district of the West End for the first time since 1963. The complex one-way system was originally installed to ease traffic along Pall Mall and St James’s Street. This reversion was part of a £14m project by City Hall, TfL and the Crown Estate.

Haw’s family cremation

PEACE campaigner Brian Haw, who died last month, will be cremated at a ceremony organised by his family in Worcestershire, a friend of his told the West End Extra. The funeral date is yet to be announced.
