Soccer girls shape up at free sessions

A SERIES of free girls’ football sessions are being launched at the Cantelowes Gardens Astroturf Pitch in Camden Road on Tuesday.
Aimed at eight to 14-year-olds, the Soccerettes Summer Soccer School will give youngsters the chance to improve various skills, including dribbling, shooting, passing and ball control.
It will run every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the summer, between midday and 3pm. There will also be senior sessions for women aged 16 and over on Wednesday evenings between 6-7.30pm.
