Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 4 December 2008

Singing success

• ON behalf of the North Camden Chorus I would like to thank the New Journal for helping to nearly double our membership this term from 65 to 110 through the feature (Warm up those vocal chords, September 11) about local choirs.
We have had to move rehearsal venue to cope.
This choir started more than 30 years ago as The William Ellis Parents Choir, then combined with Parliament Hill School, and is now the NCC.
Many of its members still have some kind of link with both schools and we now rehearse at William Ellis School.
Our first concert as the “big” choir is tomorrow, Friday December 5, at St Mary Brookfield Church, Dartmouth Park Road, NW5 at 7.45pm.
David Collins
Secretary, NCC
