Messing around with garden friends
• THOSE poor people at Talacre should be given Town Green status for their precious local park (Friends demand a decision on bid for ‘town green’ status, November 15). It is sheer agony reading about the way the council has obfuscated, delayed and generally messed the Friends of Talacre Gardens around during the past six months.
If the Town Green status is a bad idea then the council should be clear as to why it is so and vote against it. The sooner, the better.
If it is a good idea, then why delay? Get on with it. WD FARRINGDON
