Triathlon win for star Max
GRITTY youngster Max Hayhurst put in an outstanding display on Saturday to clinch victory in race three of the 2007 London Triathlon Series in Dover.
Competing for the Camden Triathlon Club, the talented 15-year-old stormed to glory in the boys’ 15 to 16 age group after swimming 400m in six mins, 19 secs, cycling a gruelling 7,500m in 13 mins,
8 secs and finally running a 2,400m stage in 9 mins, 31secs to clock an overall winning time of 28mins, 58secs.
Teammates Leo Jaggs and Jamie Hayhurst also put in encouraging displays to finish 12th and 15th in their respective age categories.
