EVERTON midfielder Lee Carsley has joined forces with tournament organisers Soccersixes to urge talented sides from across Camden and Islington to join in the action of a new six-a-side league at Market Road.
Top team Islington Giants were the first team to sign up for the competition, which is set to kick-off on February 18.

Everton star backs six-a-side league
PROFESSIONAL footballer Lee Carsley is inviting top teams from across Camden and Islington to dust off their boots and sign up for a new six-a-side league at Market Road.
The Everton midfielder has added his support to the Soccersixes Championships, a community league which is set to kick-off on Sunday, February 18.
Carsley, who will be presenting winning teams with their trophies at the end of the season, revealed: “Having visited one of the leagues I was impressed by the organisation and the professionalism. I was only to glad to get involved.”
Organisers Soccersixes will hold the league every Sunday between 5pm-8pm, with teams playing intense 30-minute matches.
But places are limited, with space for just 24 teams, which will be separated into three divisions of eight.
